Creative Kids Learning Centers opened their first Child Care Center in the Las Vegas Valley in 1980. Our philosophy has always been based on providing the highest quality childcare learning environment for young children. We developed this based on following 5 key components: Safe, Clean, Organized, Professional, and Educational. Most parents agree that these things are their top priorities when choosing an early childhood program. Our goal is to provide a complete nurturing environment for the growth and development of the whole child: socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Our approach to learning is based on the proven concept that children learn through hands-on discovery with a variety of materials. This interaction allows children to learn social skills, test their own abilities, develop confidence and try new ideas. In addition to these principles is our belief in quality and professional staff.
At the heart of each child’s learning experience is their teacher. Each center has an Educational Specialist who oversees the on-going training of our teachers. Creative Kids Learning Center’s teachers are experts in early childhood education and certified in First Aid, CPR and Emergency Procedures. They strive to build relationships with parents in support of each child’s development and learning. Whether in a leadership role as Center Director, or as a Classroom Teacher, our staff shares a common commitment to nurturing and educating young children.
All of our staff, including both teachers and maintenance crew, are required to obtain a health card and a background check through the local law enforcement agency including an FBI fingerprint check, which is kept current. Health and safety is a number one priority at Creative Kids Learning Center.
In addition to our strict standards, Creative Kids is proud to participate in the TEACH program. TEACH offers scholarships to our staff enabling them to earn credits towards Associates Degrees and Bachelor’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education at local colleges. Over the years, numerous Creative Kids staff members have completed their degrees, improving not only their personal skills but also contributing to the ongoing improvement of the Creative Kids program. In addition, we offer an in-house Child Development Associates Credential program to certify all of our teachers and further their education.
Along with our professional staff and high standards for health and safety, Creative Kids meets all the standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children regarding the “10 Signs of a Great Preschool”. Finding the right day care for your child is a very important decision with many criteria to consider.
Creative Kids is proud to say that they have been providing quality early childhood education in the Las Vegas Valley for over 30 years! Many of our Administrators and Teachers have worked for us for 10, 15, 20 years and more. This gives you and your child the gift of stability and experience that would be difficult to find anywhere else.
We are proud to be amongst a very small percentage of Early Childhood Educational Programs in Nevada that have attained National Accreditation Standards. NECPA (National Early Childhood Programs Accreditation) is a nationally recognized organization that preschools apply to for approval in meeting over 250 criteria of high quality indicators in the areas of curriculum, student progress, health and safety, administration, teacher/child ratio, and parent and community involvement. These criteria are way above the standard childcare licensing regulations. An evaluator visits our school every 3 years to verify that all standards are met to award accreditation status
