At my home, your children will be loved and challenged to exceed. I have 2 sons, ages 1.5 and 2.5. We have a daily schedule incorporating learning, fun, exercising and being a kid. I provide educational information for children to learn as they are interested with a weekly program focusing on a letter, a number, a color/shape, a subject with a definition word. In my home, children learn cooperation, responsibility and fun as a part of life related to age appropriate skills. Daily we read books, have dance time, do crafts/projects and focus on fun.
We have a labrador, named Lucky. She is a child's best friend. Children love to sit with/on her, play with her tail and give her BIG hugs. She is very careful with children.
Meals and snacks are provided. Most cooking is done from scratch with natural healthy ingredients, keeping a child's age in mind.
As a parent and provider, I practice gently child-rearing using natural consequences when appropriate and empathy led learning. I do not practice "cry it out" or "time out". Children are respected and loved in a safe and secure environment where all emotions are accepted and handled with care and support.
