As the owner of AMI-AMI FRENCH FAMILY DAYCARE & PRESCHOOL, my goal is to create a safe, fun, nurturing (though humble) home away from home for every child.
WE LEARN FRENCH informally (I am a native speaker and use it with my kids), as well as good manners and compassion.
We dance, laugh, go on bug hunts, do obstacle courses, read and make up stories, laugh again, cook, sculpt, paint, play pretend, do cartwheels... and then laugh some more!
I use music (guitar, piano), magic tricks, ventriloquism and more as fun tools for engaging the children.
NEW: kid-size computer station!!
I will watch NO MORE THAN 6 CHILDREN per day to give them all the one-on-one attention they need as well as to preserve the reassuring home-like feel of our preschool set-up.
Full-Time or Part-Time (half days, or 1 to 5 days per week). Note that we are close on Friday afternoons but extended hours may be available upon request. |
