I am a stay-at-home mom of a wonderful and active sixteen month old boy. I am certified in both infant and child first aid and CPR. I am in the process of becoming a registered day care provider. My home is located on a quiet dead end street in a family friendly neighborhood in Waldport. I have lots of toys and activities to keep little ones busy.
I have chosen to do day care because, like many moms, I want to be able to stay home with my little one and still be able to contribute to the family income. My philosophy is that quality is more important than quantity, so I am not going to have lots of kids in day care. My goal is to provide a day care environment that is warm and safe, yet stimulating and nurturing where kids get lots of personal attention.
I will be accepting children 6 months of age to five years of age. My day care slots are limited, but if you are interested in talking to me I would love to chat with you. My hourly rates are $2.50 for children who are potty trained and $3.00 for little ones still in diapers. My preferred hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
