I am former preschool teacher and mother of four. I love being a teacher and care giver. I began working with Franklin County Board of MRDD as a volunteer at the age of ten. I began getting paid as a teacher's aide at the age of 12. I worked there every summer until I was 21. At the time I had earned experience as a Teaching Assistant. I graduated from college and went onto work in the insurance field. I just did not feel like I was making a difference daily and yearned for something more. After my son was born I was looking for a way to spend more time with him and still earn a living. I was offered a job teaching preschool and have been doing it ever since. All together I have over 15 years of experience. I can not imagine doing anything else. My husband and I have bought a home in the Grove City area and plan on being here a long time. Now is the perfect time for me to watch children in my home. I can offer lower ratios than public day cares, great meals, lots of love, lots of fun, and creativity, and an early childhood education for the children.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
