I am currently going through the process to become a licensed home daycare facility. My husband and I have converted most of the ground floor level of our home for daycare use. I have been working with children in a variety of capacities for twelve years now. I provide meals and snacks and my rates are comparable to other home based daycares in the area. During the day, the children engage in fine and gross motor skills, art projects, dramatic play, songs, story time, and many other fun and learning activities! I base each week around a theme and we cover language concepts, numbers, etc. I believe that children should have lots of play time, but I also believe that even play time provides many opportunities for children to learn and grow! I can provide references upon request. No smoking is permitted in the home or anywhere on the property at any time. I have flexible hours and provide a monthly parents night out free of charge. There are discounts available for siblings as well as gift certificates available for referrals.
