Caring for children is my professionally chosen career. It offers me the chance to do something that most people only dream about – making a positive difference in the world around us by making a positive difference in the life of a child. My daycare has a daily schedule with children in mind. I strive to have your children feel like a natural part of my family and my home. I allow what I consider a “flexible” daily schedule, which is composed of structured and unstructured activities that are age appropriate for the children currently in my care. Time is always made available for the needs of infants as they arise. I have time scheduled for indoor and outdoor play all year round, age & weather permitting.
I strive to be here for your children when they need me and to do what you would do if you were here: I will hold and rock them when they cry, Give them lots of hugs, Shower them with praise when they do well, Encourage them when they are striving to reach a new goal, Feed them when they are hungry, Provide them with a quiet place to rest when they are tired and, Listen to them when they need to talk. I will try my best to make them feel that my home is their home and that they are welcome here.
