I am a small daycare with a rare opening for one full time infant or toddler and one part time. i have over 20 years experience, ranging from nanny to substitute teacher in a Christian school. i have a great preschool program, teach very basic Spanish. Insist on good manners at all times and try to teach the children to find learning to be a fun experience. We are building an organic garden at the moment. We use "your baby can read program and have circle time every day. We are growing an organic garden and have lots of outside fun!

I have twenty years experience working with children from birth to fourteen. I am a mother of two boys, one adult, and one 14 year old.
I worked successfully as a private nanny in the La Jolla area for many years. I was also the Youth program director for Gold's gym and Bally Total fitness responsible for creating programs for fitness, art and learning.
While employed at Christ The Cornerstone Academy in Mira Mesa, I was the daycare director for the after school program. I also acted as 1st and 2nd grade teachers aide. I was also an occasionally substitute teacher for first grade.
I have experience working with children with asthma, febrile seizures, and severe allergies. I am familiar with nebulizers and epipens. I have also successfully worked with hyperactive and attention deficit children.
My education consists of a Bachelors Degree in Criminal justice, and many child development courses taken during my years as a nanny.
My first love is working with children. It is what really makes me happy!

My only condition is that parents have a back up plan for when thier child is sick. I do not take sick children, and the parents appreciate that. I do everything I can to prevent cross contamination and having all the children get sick. I do send children home if they have a fever above 100f. |
