I have been a home childcare provider since 2010. I like to keep my group size at 6-8 children. I care for children 8 weeks - 6 years. I will take school children when school is not in session as well. I develop excellent relationships with the children and we have a lot of fun.
I run a semi-structured program. I do have a preschool curriculum which I use with the children which includes ABC's/123's recognition and writing, activity sheets, arts & crafts, kindergarten readiness activities, storytime, etc.
I also believe that children need free play to learn how to get along with others, use their imagination, socialize, etc.
We do have one medium size dog. She is very friendly, probably too friendly for some people. She is very good with the children however she is not around them.
