My name is Susan Harris. I am offering my service as a child care provider. My daycare is licensed thru the State of Kansas, I am also approved to receive clients with SRS (DCF) payment option. I also participate in a Food Program that promotes healthy eating habits for all the children in my care. As part of the requirements to be licensed under the State of Kansas to care for your children, my family has background checks and physical exams.
I am the wife of a wonderful man and a mother to a very smart and bright seven-year-old girl. I am an Army veteran, who have also worked for different federal agencies holding different positions. I have a B.A. in Human Resources, MBA, and different other education achievements.I am bilingual, I speak Spanish and English. I have experience caring for children and knowledge of the laws that involve the care of children.
I strive for excellence with everything I do. I will do my best to meet your child care expectations, but I also require the involvement of the parents when it comes to the well-being of their children. We offer a safe and loving home environment along with nutritious food. We are looking for loving parents that want to be involve in their children's growth and interested in where and what their children are doing.
I have a 2 weeks period where the parent can test and see if the child is comfortable in my care; at the same time I evaluate if I can meet the needs of the child without compromising the safety and peace of the other children. Parents pay for those two weeks, but there is no contract until after two weeks. The daycare will have myself and Mrs. Navarro (my mother) to care for your children. Most home daycares have 1 person to 10 kids, if you pick our daycare, you will have 2 dedicated adults for 10 children, maybe less depending on the openings and acceptance rate.
I am in no rush to fill my daycare with children just to make money; I want to give the best care to the children and enjoy my job at the same time.
When parents have 3 months of care already, have made their payments on time, and are not late to pick up their children, I offer perks such as “ Parents date night”. The 3rd Friday or Saturday of every month or every other month, I will offer a free night from 6 PM to midnight child care service for parents to drop their children and maybe go on a date or just have alone time.

Full Time Daycare
Up to 50 hours a week/not exceeding 10 hours per day
Infants – (Birth to 18 months)- $165.00 Week, infants, call to see if available
Toddlers/ Preschool (18 months to 4 yrs) $130.00 Week
School Age- (5 years and older)- $115.00 per week, school days out $19 per day not to exceed weekly tuition charges of $115.00 per week
Yearly supply/Enrollment fee $30, due on enrollment.
Part Time Daycare
Up to 25 hours/not exceeding 5 hours per day
Infants- (Birth to 18 months) – -$100 per week
Toddlers/ Preschool (18 months to 4) -$85 per week
School Age (5 years and older)- $80 per week
School age care (5 years and up)- $60 per week/$15 per day/
In the summer, I sometimes can offer all day care for school age, subject to current placements. Cost is $115 per week up to 50 hours.
Pre K (under age 5 years ) that attends half day in school cost is $115 per week, due to still considered full time placement in my licensing capacity.
Drop-in/Emergency Care
Maximum hours depends on full time or part time care.
Infants- (birth to 18 months) - full day (up to 10 hours) - $40 per day
Toddler - (18 months to 4 year) - full day (up to 10 hours) - $35 per day
Toddler/Preschool (Potty Trained) - $30 per day
School age - (5 year to 11 year) - full day (up to 10 hours) - $20 per day
Infants- (birth to 18 months) - part day (up to 5 hours) - $25 per day
Toddler - (18 months to 4 year) - part day (up to 5 hours) - $20 per day
