Sounds of Joy Childcare Center is a licensed home daycare of the Texas Department of Health Human Services Commissions. I provide care for infants, toddlers, preschool and afterschool. I operate using the Texas Childcare Minimum Standard guidelines for Licensed Homes.
**I provide warmth and responsive caregiving in a stress-free environment. My hopes are children will feel love, secure, comfortable and have lots of fun. I support children stages of learning with age-appropriate activities, structural learning time and powerful positive teacher-child interactions. I expand on their creativity, curiosity, potential and special interest. I promote children social and emotional skills by treating every child with kindness, respect and elevating their self-esteem. I encourage positive behavior skills by modeling positive behavior skills and redirecting negative behavior with a gentle approach. I support children physical development, health and well-being by providing nutritional meals, gross and fine motor activities **.
Admission conditions
1. At enrollment I will need a statement from your child's doctor's stating your child can participate in a childcare program.
2. I have a dachshund (wiener dog).
3. This is a well care program. I do not take of sick children. If your child is sick please do not bring him/her to daycare.
4. I live in off Beltway 8 North near Hwy 90 East
